| Princess Qina El-Arish was the foundation of Bushbabies Basenjis. The product of the last pure LIHU breeding, Princess was born 10/26/1982 and passed away 05/21/1999. From five litters, Princess produced six AKC Champions (Ch Bushbabies Boffo Weederman, Ch Bushbabies Karosel Keepsake, Am/Can Ch Bushbabies Turuki, LCM, Ch Bushbabies Tuff Act to Follow, Ch Bushbabies Obviously Jazz and Ch Bushbabies Bete Noir, JC.) Princess was OFA Good (BJ-323G150F-T). |
| Ch Zuri's Ti-Chababi came to us from Ken & Marilyn Leighton of Zuri Basenjis from the last natural breeding litter sired by Ch Vikentor's Lucky Mountaineer and the last litter whelped by Honor Roll producer Ch Amun-Rameses Nubian Tiye. Babi was born 12/11/1986 and passed away 09/22/2004. From six litters, Babi produced five AKC Champions (Ch Zuri's Sauti, FCh; Ch Bushbabies Serengeti Ti-Mtu, CGC; Ch Bushbabies' Sonata of Voyuz, Ch Bushbabies Iwannabe a Star, and Ch Voyuz Don't Push My Button). Babi was OFA Excellent (BJ-432E112F-T). |

| Avongara Zairienne was the first basenji of pure Avongara breeding to move to the West Coast. Her sire and dam (Avongara Diagba & Avongara K-Posi) were born in the jungles of Zaire. Whelped 11/05/1988, ZZ passed away in March 1997 from undiagnosed Valley Fever while leased to a breeder in Arizona. ZZ whelped three litters and while none of her offspring completed an AKC Championship, her daughter Bushbabies Kamili Uuzuri earned her Companion Dog obedience title. ZZ was OFA Excellent (BJ-332E80F-T). |
